Jon Turns Two!!

Neil and I got to spend the first two weeks of November with Chris, Rich, and Jon. Jon was between childcare situations, so we filled the gap in childcare with great joy! Here Grampy is getting Jon into his carseat for a trip to the zoo.

At the end of the two weeks, Jon turned two, and what an adorable, fun, good little two-year-old he is! He plays well alone and with others, is a happy little guy, and sleeps well at naps and night. We never knew kids could sleep like this! Here's Jon helping Chris make his birthday cupcakes.



The five of us went to Fairytale Town for Jon's birthday, which dawned bright and beautiful. Fairytale Town a great place for little people, but the big kids had fun, too. (The pic shows Rich and Jon after sliding down one of their clever slides.) Grammy (aka Patty) shared some treats later with Jon at his birthday lunch at Quiznos -- a pepperoncini and a jalapeño potato chip! He liked the first but wasn't too sure about the potato chip.
