Mea & Baby Jon

Although our grandbabies don't get to see one another very often, since Mea lives in Las Cruces and Jon in Sacramento, they do love it when they do get together. Here's a photo of our two precious gifts, Mea and Baby Jon, taken earlier this summer.

Great Grandma Frey's birthday

Neil's mother, Myrle Louise Frey, will turn 91 next week. Her three children will all be on hand to help her celebrate. She lives at Atherton Baptist Homes in Alhambra, only 4 miles from Neil & Patty. Not long ago, Christy and Baby Jon were able to come for a visit with his Great Grandma and get a four-generation picture.

Transplant Update

Some of you are asking about the pending kidney transplant for Roy, Rich's dad. Latest news flash is that Linda, Rich's mom, will be the donor, and the kidney transplant is now scheduled to take place on 1 November 2006. Your continued prayers for the whole family would be most appreciated!

I thought I had a picture of Baby Jon with his parents and both sets of grandparents, but alas 'tis not to be found. I'll include pics of Linda with Baby Jon and of Roy supervising Rich with Baby Jon -- one of my favorite pics!! The pictures were taken when Jon was 3 months old. He's even cuter now!!
