Transplant Patients Home

Roy and Linda Carter's kidney transplant, from her to him, has been successfully accomplished. They were able to return to Bakersfield on Sunday to continue their healing process in the comfort of their own home. Bet it feels great to be home again!!

Neil and I visited Roy in the hospital at St. Vincent's on Saturday afternoon to find Roy walking the hallways and looking great! Linda, who was released on Friday, was at the guest house napping when we visited, so we didn't get to see her, but was it ever great to see Roy up and about, looking and feeling quite perky.

Many prayers went up on their behalf. We're grateful for the prayer support and for the smooth transplant process. May God's healing touch continue to rest upon them, especially as Roy's body adjusts to the new kidney and accepts it.
